Ormskirk Tennis Club draws its members from Ormskirk, Town Green, Aughton, Bickerstaffe, Burscough, Tarleton, Hallsall, Southport, Mawdesley, Croston, Maghull, Lydiate, Rainford, Skelmersdale, Sefton, Crosby, Formby, Parbold, Newburgh, Rufford, Aughton, Tarlscough, Town Green and other surrounding areas of West Lancashire.

Junior Newsletter The junior newsletter contains a summary of what is going on within our club regarding our Junior members.

We now have over 100 junior players! This is fantastic so tell any friends who want to play to come along and join in too. Ormskirk Tennis Club want to be the biggest and best club in the North West so if you want to be the next Tim Henman get down the club every Friday evening from April to July.

Junior Tennis Organisers Stephen Roche works in conjunction with John McNeil (Club Coach and CTP organiser), to run and co-ordinate junior activities on a part-time basis from beginning April to end August.

Used tennis balls are extremely useful for the juniors, please bring them down to the Club and leave them behind the bar.

Weekdays and Saturday mornings. Please note that juniors can play up to 6.00pm on weekdays as the courts will have been prepared earlier in the afternoon. The courts will need to be brushed prior to the start of matches - ideally by the juniors as they leave. Also there will be several junior teams playing so members need to be aware that certainly at the beginning of the season there are likely to be junior matches on a Saturday morning.

Road to Wimbledon National 14 & Under Challenge

There are supervised sessions every Friday evening from 25 April to 25 July.
5.30 - 6.30pm  Short tennis for ages 5-8
6.30 - 7.30pm  Beginners and ages 8-11
7.30 - 8.30pm  Tennis for ages 11-15
The age stated is only a guide and if you are unsure then get in touch or come along and see how you get on.

No Charges
This year no charge will be made for the coaching or tennis balls on Friday evenings.
